Southpaw Rescue is a 100% volunteer-based rescue. Since we do not have a shelter facility, all of our dogs are kept in foster care. There are many ways you can help save the lives of dogs in need:

• Donate

  • Monetary – this helps pay for pull fees from shelters, medical emergencies for animals who are injured when rescued and routine vaccinations/spay and neuter/wellness checks. Our vet is generous enough to give Southpaw Rescue a discount, but these bills can still add up!

  • Food – wet and dry

  • Toys

  • Gently used bowls, leashes, crates and collars

• Foster – Fosters are the backbone to any animal rescue. Please consider temporarily opening up your home to an animal in need. Visit our Foster Page for more information.

• Volunteer to transport dogs to and from vet appointments

​​

• Volunteer to pick dogs up at the shelter when needed

​​

• Volunteer to work an adoption event

​​

• Hold a fundraiser for Southpaw

• Networking
