Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Southpaw Rescue by wanting to do a fundraiser!
The information provided here will help you plan your fundraiser benefiting Southpaw Rescue. The possibilities are endless and we encourage you to be creative. Here are just a few ideas to get you started:

If any of these events are something you are interested in doing as a fundraiser...or you have another idea...please fill out the below form to gain approval to do your fundraiser.
Now for the legal stuff....
Southpaw Rescue asks third party fundraisers to donate 100% of the contributions they collect during their event to Southpaw Rescue. Event expenses such as food, venue, raw materials and planning time can either be donated by the vendors or absorbed by the third party fundraiser. If this budget model is not possible for your event, we ask that you donate 100% of the net proceeds of the event to Southpaw Rescue.
Individual donations are tax-deductible in the United States in accordance with applicable laws. Donations made by check will be confirmed with an acknowledgement and receipt letter from Southpaw Rescue upon receipt of the donation. Checks should be made payable to “Southpaw Rescue”.
For security reasons, Southpaw Rescue cannot accept cash through the mail. All cash donations received during your fundraising event or campaign should be collected and a log should be made with name, amount and contact information (if receipt is needed).
Please note, while we know you are eager to get started, your event must be approved in advance by Southpaw Rescue. Please allow up to one week to get approval for your fundraiser.
Send all proceeds as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after your fundraising activity through Southpaw's donate button.
